Great location

This resort could be an absolute gem! The staff has my greatest appreciation for their tireless efforts. They work really hard and I’m sure they’re underpaid. The ocean views is simply outstanding. Keep in mind this is a no swim beach, otherwise enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful ocean. The buffet food was okay. Don’t come expecting a dazzling buffet, it’s accommodating! The other restaurants offer a bit better variety. The pools were crystal clear, however the outside showers, there are 4 of them and only 1 functioned. Activities honestly they are lacking. A lot of that may have been a language barrier but a professional planner is very much needed to get the people active and involved. There can be no bad day in this area whatsoever! My oh no moment can when our phone in the room didn’t work. So scheduling anything from the comfort of the room was out. Room service out, spa schedule out, any amenity that I paid for out. Next the valances in the ad photos were not in our room. The rods were but no valances. The furniture was outdated and the materials were grossly fades. Our dining table legs were fractured to the point we were afraid to use it. Who do you call, we couldn’t! Why did we stay, it was booked months in advance and paid for. The resort offers some value, just don’t buy into the ad photos, they’re extremely enhanced.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

We had an amazing stay. The property is so beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms were perfect. Fidel our server at the sky pool was attentive and the best bartender. Bernice at the front desk was very helpful. We LOVE this resort and will Come back!

Pool was cold, furniture dated and food quality for room service is poor

Hotel is Very good, when I booked I had booked fly,hotel and car be carfull because car has hidden fees you cannot escape, plan on it, $368 dollars extra for 6 day car rental insurance. they claim is mandatory mexican law. another hidden fees is on the tours they offer at the hotel, we did the racers and the camels, the hidden fee is park entry $25 dollar per person & racer car insurance $45 dollar per car they dont tell you this when you buy it, other than that everything was great! not crowded, no access to swim at the beach, you have to go to another part of town to get in the water, no need for pesos we paid credit card or dollars, felt very safe, DO NOT agree on anything free, becase it's suppose to be for 90MINUTES of your time but it takes all day and they get aggressive if you don't buy, a timeshare or diferent name but same thing
