Great location. However, aircon didn’t work, shower bracket was broken, shower was mouldy, Hairdryer was useful for someone without hair. We mentioned the aircon issue as it was mid 30s but nothing was done. Not great.

Even though I only stayed one night, the experience was amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, making my stay a very memorable one. The food is incredible, whether you choose to dine A La Carte or try one of their very well put together Degustacion menus. Great selection of wine and they take great deal of pride in presenting the local Bordeaux region, its wines and local delicacies. Highly recommended.

It’s a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. They do not provide much in the way of toiletries. They charge for using a bicycle. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room and the meal was excellent. Hiwever, I was unable to get into the dining room this time and dined at the bar, outside. We both ordered a steak and potato meal that followed a simple and delicious salad. Unfortunately, we both found our two a steaks, cooked à point ( medium rare) tough, gristly, and almost inedible. We each left two thirds of the beef uneaten. Such a disappointment.

This is a beautifully elegant hotel. Each room is unique with high quality fittings and products , particularly the quirky but very wearable bathrobes and the Dyson hair dryer. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble

Excellent communication with property. Helped me quickly find the laundry. ( soap is provided). Bed was comfortable, even for my picky wife. Nice to have a separate area to sit, and a kitchen if you tire of eating out. Shower is small but perfectly functional. The best I can say is that it’s quality value for the money and I will return.

Staff did not speak English and was not very welcoming for a 5 star hotel

This was a great hotel in a very convenient location! We arrived early to a surprise that our room was ready and we had been upgraded! Maxine was so friendly and helpful that first day including helping us to reschedule afternoon plans when I wasn't feeling well from our travel and morning walking tour. The room was clean and comfortable. There was amazing water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels. We had the buffet breakfast one morning and it had plenty of options for everyone. Chloe was amazing and very attentive.
