All the staff are very friendly and helpful especially James in the bar . Lovely clean room the fridge was kept well stocked . At breakfast the bacon was mostly overcooked to the point of rubber but the rest was delicious

Amazing B&B, super themed rooms in historical building. Very well fitted with interesting pizza restaurant & bakery serving continental breakfast. The no reception or staff members works really well. Situated in the very pretty Market Square where we parked without any problem. Highly recommend. Great experience.

The accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious. It was the perfect location and the access to the hot tub was a brilliant addition.

Beautiful location and bedrooms. However communal area ie. Accommodation stairs and hallway needs attention. Parking can be an issue as anyone can park in pub carpark for free, just to go to the beach for the day.

Great stay as always at this property

This was our second visit to the hotel. We went first in August 2024 and enjoyed it and the area so much we decided to return. Unfortunately service has deteriorated. When we had a problem, reception did not answer the phone, nor did room service. We were limited to ringing the hotel main telephone line from our mobile phone to get any response. The food we ordered (After our first choice was unavailable) was Caesar salad which was swimming in water where the lettuce had been rinsed but not dried off ant the garlic croutons were missing. We tried contacting reception again but our attempts were not answered. Having said that the next morning we spoke to the Duty Manager Debbie who was extremely helpful and she rectified the situation amicably. We did not have the confidence to have meals other than breakfast at the hotel againHowever, that same day our room was not cleaned despite a conversation with the chambermaid around 11.00am who said she would return in half an hour. At 5.30pm it had still not been done. Another trip to reception and the Front of House Manager Vishalvisited our room and agreed to have it cleaned and replenished, which he did himself. All credit to these 2 named people who put themselves out to help us. It appears they are working with a lack of staff to carry out their duties efficiently for the number of guests and events that are offered. Sadly, this does lead us to say that we would not be returning

The hotel is in an excellent location for Earlham Park, it has a nice breakfast and reception areas, plenty of parking, and the breakfast was good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was really not great. It was situated some way from reception along a rabbit hole of corridors. The corridor where our room was smelt quite fusty/mouldy. The room itself also had a strong odour - a bit like rotting fruit. Luckily the windows were openable. The room and especially bathroom were overdue for a makeover, with a worn carpet and lots of missing paint. The bed was comfortable enough and the aircon was a bonus. We wouldn't stay again because of the fusty room.
