"Courtesy, comfort and convenience"
We stayed 4 nights visiting friends and relations in Norfolk. Our room was comfortable, quiet and reasonably accessible by lift, given the age of the building. All staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the excellent breakfast menu. The only downside was the bathroom, despite provision of a commodious bath and limitless hot water. The design of the shower controls, over the bath, made their use difficult, due to the smooth cylindrical control knob, and the lack of any hand holds, and of a soap dish for the shower, made showering extremely hazardous (at 87 years old my sense of balance standing on one leg with eyes closed is uncertain). The hotel management were exemplary in responding to my complaint, and arranged to fit a solid grab rail, which enabled me to use the shower safely.

"weekend break"
I have stayed at Dunston Hall a few times. In the past the rooms some of the rooms have been tired and dated however now all has been renovated its not so hit and miss with the rooms. Also there has been queues for check in and out but this time much better organised. The pool area is much fresher, new ceiling and lick of paint. The only thing i would say is that we had a late dinner booking and some of the carvery dishes were a bit dry and had to wait for the chef to carve the meat, but all in all a much better experience and will definitely return.

"Excellent location for Wroxham and The Broads"
We booked last minute and as we had stayed here before 10 years ago wanted to stay again. We were aware for the price and description online that we were expecting a compact standard double room. (We previously stayed in a room overlooking the river). Upon arrival the check-in staff were very helpful and efficient, they tried to upgrade our room which we could have done but we would have had to move during our stay so decided to go with what we were originally allocated. The room was quite small, number7' but the ensuite was big. The room was very hot but we had had unbelievable hot weather so I'm sure everywhere was hot. We kept the fan on all night on night one and that helped us to sleep. The resturant and bar have fantastic views and as it was so hot we spent our evenings out on the terrace. The bar prices are very reasonable, not London prices, so you can afford to sit out there all night drinking.

Norfolk is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Norfolk, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Norfolk hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
