"Beautiful hotel with fabulous staff"
The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Chris who seemed to be on duty the whole time but was always smiling). The room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The restaurant in the hotel is really truly very good too. Recommended.

"Great little B&B!"
The owner went above and beyond to be helpful. It felt like we were staying with a friend. There was a good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer and the location is fairly quiet despite being on a main road in Bacton. The room we had was at the back of the B&B with a view over the fields. It was small but perfectly comfortable. There is a beach is about 15-20 mins stroll away and there is also a great pub down the road called Poachers Pocket with views overlooking the sea. This B&B also has a private pool that can be hired out which really sets it apart from other B&B's in town. All in all we really loved staying here and would definitely recommend!

"Hotel overlooking football ground"
Stayed here for a week on holiday in Norwich and used this as a base to see Norfolk. The hotel is directly overlooking the football ground which wasn't a problem as there was no football on. It was easy to get to on foot from the train station. Although the hotel and room were clean and comfortable, some of the hotel staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly, some even rude, particularly at breakfast. The food and drink at breakfast varied considerably in quality during our stay.

"Comfortable hotel with excellent food"
We chose this hotel as it was on the route of the North Norfolk Coast Path. It is situated in the lovely village of Cley. There are many walks to do in the area and it is near the Hopper bus stop. It was a great place to stop over for a night whilst walking the Norfolk Coast path,. Food was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and had a lovely view. Only issues were that the bathroom didn't have a fixed shower - just a handheld one in the bath - I was happy with that but some might not be. Also poor mobile phone signal (not their fault of course and an issue throughout this part of the coast) but the wifi was one where you had to give numerous details just to access - so for a one night stay I didn't bother. Again not everyone would worry about that. Overall a lovely place and in a lovely part of the world. Very friendly staff.

"Lovely local hotel with great hospitality"
This is a lovely basic local hotel that I have stayed at many times. The staff are super efficient, very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. This place has true Norfolk hospitality! They have free parking, free wifi, satellite TV, spacious and quiet rooms with both a bathtub and shower. The hotel is clean, peaceful and comfortable. They have a small lift, restaurant and bar on the premises. I feel at home here which is rare for a hotel. The location is ideal. It's a 5 minute walk from the main train station and 5-10 minutes from the pubs, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the city centre. The river is 5 minutes away and the cathedral a 10-15 minute walk along the river path. The football ground is 15 minutes walk away.

"Beautiful setting and excellent food."
We have been to the Sea Marge before and had been given a "Dining Experience" gift voucher as a present so decided to stay overnight as well. We pushed the boat out a bit to choose a Deluxe room with a sea view and were very pleased to have a large room with 4-poster bed and seating area and an almost equally large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The staff are very efficient without ever being intrusive and the meal we had was an excellent 7 courses - even where there was a particular item that we didn't like, alternatives were offered without any issue. Breakfast was an extra £9.95 pp but was excellent value and we were fortunate to arrive just when a window table had been vacated. A 30 second wait for it to be reset was all that was asked. Our favourite activity when staying (or just visiting the area) is to walk down to Cromer through the golf course and then back along the beach - or vice-versa and the hotel staff wee more than happy for us to leave our car in the car park to do this prior to check-in. All in all, an experience we will undoubtedly repeat at this fine hotel.

Bacton is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bacton, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bacton hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
