My second stay here, hotel is lovely & clean however this is my first stay in the summer & was disappointed there was no air conditioning in my room, allocated a room on the fifth floor, it was really warm & stuffy, had 2 ask reception to open my window as it wouldn't stay open due 2 a fault then at night had 2 close it due to the noise from outside making the room even hotter. A fan was provided but had to turn that off as it was noisy. I was fortunate that my stay was not during one of the heatwaves. I would not stay here again in the summer

We’ve stayed a few times at Hotel Indigo. Since our last visit the hotel has been refurbished. Reception & bar looking nice. We stayed in corner balcony room this time. On arrival staff lovely as always. Room was very spacious & modern since the refurb. Super comfy bed. Unfortunately the hotel would benefit on further checks including house keeping & maintenance. There were quite a few long black hairs on the floor & dust on surfaces. The balcony was huge but quite a bit of wasted space as only had a small table with 4 chairs. A couple of slabs were loose & table looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while & lots of bird poo. The lighting in the room is dark & could do with ceiling lights in main bedroom. One light was out in bathroom. We had no housekeeping on our second day & had to request toilet rolls. No clean cups, glasses, towels, tea & coffee or bed making. We were out all day & by time we returned we didn’t see the point of pointing this out. Hotel is in a great location. Parking £15 daily & staff friendly. Needs a few tweaks to improve.
