"Lovely portion on the beach."
Excellent reception staff. Food is very overpriced in the main restaurants and service slow on the pool bar and foyer restaurant. Half hour wait for drinks and sandwiches. Some guests reserve sun loungers by the pool with the pool attendants and do not turn up to use them until mid afternoon. Not enough to go round as a result. Very clean rooms . Good concierge and doormen.

"Location! Location! Cant be beat."
Amazing location, view and service. Staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a bit dated, but large scale renovation is underway... we were surprised of how early in the evening restaurant and bar was closing, but found out the entire town is like that, except for the casinos.

"Well priced & walkable to shops & bars"
The hotel was reasonably priced and 5 minutes walk into the town centre of La Linea, 2 minutes to the bus station and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Gibraltar border. Easy to mingle with fellow guests in the pool area during the day and evening. Chambermaids often forgot to clean the room.

"Fantastic hotel for a family to relax in."
Super hotel with a wide range of facilities for adults and children. We had an apartment which was huge with a large lounge diner, two big bedrooms with two bathrooms. There was no kitchen which was fine as we were half board but a bit of fridge space that was more than a mini fridge would have been good. The restaurants and food were excellent with such a massive range of variety (even had Brussel Sprouts for a breakfast option!!). There was too much to choose from at times that I overate! All the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff who worked tirelessly in what was a big operation. The room / apartmert was kept really clean and tidy every day as well. The gym was ok, we didn't use it, it's a holiday after all. Some people have complained about the lack of facilities in it but its a hotel not a leisure centre, it was more than adequate. All the swimming pools were great and we could get fresh beech towels every day. The activities staff were great and fun and the aqua aerobic classes were fun and popular. We have 2 children ages 4 and 9 but tended not to use the children's entertainment as most children were Spanish families on holiday from the inner and larger cities and towns. Therefore I think they would have been a little unsettled although the staff did speak basic English. You do have to stick your beech towels out early in the morning for the pool or everyone else will have reserved the sun-beds which is a pain.

"Well maintained accommodation"
The apartment was very well presented. Nothing really to complain about at all. Everything worked and was clean. Even supplied the basics to cleaning products, dishes etc to keep you going for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only gripe was that although the location surrounding the hotel was stunning the distance to the nearest town centre was too far. The hotel provides a free shuttle but limited departure/return times. But it's still a plus but be warned the shuttle driver let's day is very prompt on departing! So.muxh so he may leave before the hour so get there 15mins before! If your a group of 5 you'll be paying for 2 taxi for all journeys even the larger suv's will only travel 3-4 passengers.

"Charming hotel w/ amazing views"
Charming hotel with a skylit atrium entrance hall and rooms with french doors opening on to views of the valley. The hotel has paid a lot of attention to details, that impact all the senses, from the tiled floors and vibrant stucco walls, to the delicious and varied included breakfast and wonderful dinner options at the bar/restaurant. Great music in the restaurant and interesting art all around give this place a feeling of an artist's enclave or salon. We were only here one night, but wished we had had a longer stay in the hotel and the quaint town of Jimena de la Frontera.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Jimena de la Frontera hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
