The first room we were put in smelled very strongly of mildew but we let the desk staff know and they immediately moved us to another room. We’re from the States, so the room and bathroom were extremely small compared to what we’re used to, but the staff was great and provided us with a floor fan (no AC) and helped out in every way! The location was perfect! We were close to every excursion we had planned, and only about a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal.

Good location, good staffs, and it is very convinces for us to go to the city centre! Air conditioning is good, The only thing is the hair shampoo is not really good!

Location is only thing that good for this hotel , When I arrived here the stuff wasn’t there so I have to wait outside and he pushed me to pay city tax I told him later he repeated asked for twice another day , anyway won’t recommend and won’t come back !

Lovely place to stay and quite near the train station. For daytripping on the train it is a great location. Points of interest within Amsterdam were rather far away for walking and the closest tram stop was also a hike. But a canal tour was very nearby.

The location is very good for tourists because it is on a popular square with lots of restaurants, bars and some shops. We had a little but nice balcony over looking the large square. However the downsides were two things. First the room size was very small and we had to have turns maneuvering around the bed. Secondly the floor was dirty. Our socks and/or feet showed the dirt. Breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of choices.

This is my 2nd year staying at Pension and I absolutely love it here! The front desk staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need. The restaurant and bar is also amazing. Very fresh food and cold drinks. Also, they have a hotel cat named Amy who I love!!!! ❤️ The hotel is away from all of the chaos of the city center, but still close so that you can walk pretty much anywhere where you want to go. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay there next summer! 殺
