"My stay at Value Place"
This was a nice place. Arrived after office hours and had no problem getting my pre-paid for room. The room was very basic as was expected but had a fridge, microwave and two burners. This was nice and saved on money. My stay was rather short, 3 days, since it was a unexpected emergency. My only complaint was that the wi-fi did not work at all for a period of close 24 hours (not sure how long it did not work as I had to check out, but it was night time and morning). I called the caretaker and this problem was never fixed. I went for some time without wi-fi were-as the days before it did work. So my advice is that if you absolutely must have internet availability (for say work) do not stay here. Other than that the place was nice. Quiet. Do believe dogs are allowed, as I did here one when I was in the hallway. Laundry facilities are available and if I 'd stayed longer I would have used them.

"A hidden gem in Homestead, Florida"
My husband and I needed a hotel in Homestead to attend a funeral and were pleasantly surprised. We booked a single room with 1 king bed. The hotel provides free breakfast with everything you can think of EXCEPT there is no bacon or sausage. The dining area is only a few feet away from the check-in desk and there aren't enough tables & chairs to accommodate all the guests. If you arrive for breakfast after 8am, the only seating you will find is in the outdoor dining area which can get very hot even in the early morning hours. The room had laminated wood flooring--a nice change from carpet which is not hygienic. It's very quiet and very clean. The room was equipped with a blow dryer, iron & ironing board, & mini fridge. I absolutely HATE the way most hotels these days have the sink outside the room where the toilet is. Very unhygienic and stupid set-up, having to open the door with tissued hand before getting to a sink--how ridiculous.

"Nice vacation cottage"
This is NOT a hotel. It's a vacation cottage and quite a pleasant one. We were right on the water and had a lovely view from the screen porch. It has one bedroom, a living room, a loft, a kitchen, and a bath, all quite small but very comfortable. No maid service, no amenities, no reception but you can easily walk to a good restaurant and to a large National Park Service place.

"Central to everything and half the cost. Huge room"
Family of 5 that struggles to find one room accomodations. We were told on phone they didn't have rollaway beds. We were pleasantly surprised we didn't need one. The room was like a suite. It had a full size bed pull out couch even with a room separator in addition to two queen beds. The room also had a whole kitchen with dishes, dishwasher and big refrigerator with a big freezer! Now I get why they call it Home 2. It's a second home! Very comfortable! Worth every penny especially because it includes breakfast! Only 30 min. Drive to key largo, Biscayne National park, Everglades National park and maybe 1 hour to Miami beach. There are a few local attractions... A beautiful winery/brewery, Fresh gardens farms with tours, Miami dune buggy tour to private zoo to pet animals, coral castle museum.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Everglades National Park hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
