"Needs Work"
The hotel itself is old and in need of a total renovation!! The staff, however are top notch. Friendly and helpful, always smiling and making you feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet included homemade banana fritters, nice touch. The location couldn't be better, park the car and walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want!!

"Review of White Columns Inn"
Is a nice place to stay, the room was a little smallish, but adequate, staff did a good job, overall the hotel had a sort of a Southern Plantation type charm. The lady who checked us in and out, Grace was always helpful and friendly, a very nice lady. The breakfast spread was the best of all the places we stayed on the trip. I would stay at your place again, excellent value for the money.

"Decent hotel in a decent area in Augusta, GA"
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a rude front desk worker, of whom I could not get her attention so I had to call the front desk to get her attention. She said "They had a note that you weren't supposed to be here until 6 am" It was 5:33.....and the original time I gave them was 3-4 am. I called Wednesday night around 9 pm to let them know it would be about 6 am. They told me my room was already ready, they would go ahead and check me in and have my key in. The lady just had to hand me my key, thats it. So what was the big deal about??? The only thing that saved this review from being terrible was the fact that I had the chance to run into Ms. Evelynn on our last morning at the hotel, as she happened to be working that morning, after the rude front desk worker left, and I remember her from a stay years ago and she remembered me! It's a shame she only works there 2 Sunday's a month because she really makes up for the rude workers you have on night shift! The floor in the room turned your feet black, which I expect at all hotels these days, the towels were stained and seemed to have mascara on them, there was mold in our shower and on the shower curtain, there were little hairs, appeared to be pubic hairs, all over the shower curtain and in the linens. The bed was comfortable, that is the main thing saving this review! Also, you need to add parking! Our last night there we had to park behind the hotel, in the run down closed Inn because all spaces were occupied!

"Friendliest staff, very comfortable "
My husband had stayed in 3 hotels in 6 days. Baymont has the friendliest staff of all, they wanted to make sure our room was ok, that we had everything we needed. Room staff were eager to make sure our rooms were cleaned at our convenience. Staff for breakfast were so accommodating..... so pleasant, polite. A very enjoyable stay.

Augusta is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Augusta, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Augusta hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
