Hotel is old and under renovation. We were in a renovated room. Room was tight and harder to move around in ( bed close to walk) and new bathroom toilet area door was loud and squeaky. Restaurant food was poor. We ate breakfast there our first day and bacon was grossly undercooked, sausage was soggy and eggs were cold. For what they charge it should be a lot better. We never went to the restaurant again.

For the price I paid, I expected luxury, not just clean and friendly. The location was good, the beds comfortable and the room was quiet. Pay extra for breakfast and housekeeping only on demand. The hot tub is outdoors but the small pool is indoors. The tiniest bathroom with minimal amenities. We stayed 4 nights and liked Canmore.

Try to avoid the ground floor if you can. Otherwise you will have the curtain closed all the time to maintain your room’s privacy- there will be people walking outside towards the hot tubs all the time.

This location is excellent, you can walk to restaurants and a complete grocery store. The kitchen is well set up and equipped with everthing we needed. It is also very convient for riding the buses to places out of town. The bedrooms are very small but the location more than compensates. Two older couples stayed five nights and we were very pleased. The people in reception were very helpful with directions, parking which is complicated, and activities.

Hotel needs some upgrades, but it’s still nice. We had a kitchenette in our room and it was a nice perk to have. Quiet area and well located.
