The hotel was a short 7 or 8 minute taxi ride from Exeter St Davids train station. And very conveniently located for access to the main town centre and cathedral area. Breakfast choice was varied with hot and cold options and my hot breakfast was delicious. We had a very good room with 2 beds and enough space to hold our clothes. I particularly enjoyed the shower as the controls were so very easy to use to control the flow and temperature. If I was in this location again I would not hesitate to stay there again

There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed.

Lovely staff, delicious food and nice and quiet at night. Nice comfortable room.

I booked through Expedia which meant the hotel didn't get the information to turn the room into a twin. So we had to put up with that for a night. We weren't massively impressed by that, nor by being tossed 2 free drinks card - undoubtedly to make us feel better about the unresolvable situation - which we didn't use because I find this people management system quite insulting. However, it was rectified in the morning by housekeeping. Housekeeping kept the tea and coffee well stocked and there was a fridge with cold drinks in our room. Breakfast was great. Nice atmosphere. There is a bit of outside noise that you could hear as well as corridor noise on floor 3. Rooms were being upgraded and they are lovely, but there is some noise from that if you were planning on sleeping past 9am. Curtains are blackout, though if the slightest bit of light affects you, make sure you make the curtains and walls meet.

The cleaning staff set and maintain extremely high standards as do reception staff. I have increased the length of my stay at The Manor Hotel several times because of the cleanliness especially. It's location is ideal and my room has spectacular views.
