Last minute hotel room. No kitchen was frustrating so had to find a takeaway close by. Close to my destination of Telford International Centre. Key card worked when it wanted to and also same issue with the shower

Mercure Telford Centre Hotel
Great location for the international arena, hotel was well maintained and clean although the room was a bit cold and the hot water in the bath/shower was scalding or freezing and the hand basin didn’t get hot. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was great, I would recommend.

Lilleshall National Sports Centre
The room was clean but the bed was hard and you needed binoculars to see the TV. We stayed in Kent hall and it seemed like an old office block that has been turned into bedrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great sausages and bacon were overcooked and dry. The parking was not that great either.
