"March break fun!"
Enjoyed our stay very much. We went out doing activities with the kids then the kids enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the whirlpool, but it was not very hot. It was like taking a warm bath. Thank God for the sauna to warm us up. The breakfast was delicious, good variety of hot food and cold food. Staff were great! Room was clean and comfortable. Next time think I would call the hotel to see if the whirlpool is hot!

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location"
We had a great two night stay in a suite with our boys who we had taken out of their university residence for the weekend! Just a few suggestions; suite is equipped with a kitchenette so a small table and chairs would have been nice! Extra bedding for double pullout should be provided in room. Overall though it was a wonderful hotel, in a great location! We would definitely stay there again.

"Beautiful Hotel "
The room was up to date, clean & worth the money. There was a mini fridge, a big flat screen TV, there were 3 lamps all with reading lights on the bottom that could be maneuvered to your needs. The had charging cords for phones, lap tops etc on the desk that were connected in the chance you forgot a cord. A bed table if you were looking to have breakfast/or any meal in bed. The bathroom was amazing, very big, "night light" coming from the bottom of the sink, huge soak-er type tub & shower. The pool was a good size & the hot tub was the right temperature, the sauna was beautiful & didn't go into the work out area but it looked good as well. Only thing I would to have liked to see was the fire place & fountains running in the pool area, would have added to the beauty it already was. The restaurant 'Proof' had great staff & awesome food & beer as well! I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Waterloo for sure!

The desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had the basics - free wifi was appreciated! But it was very cold and the heater was very confusing as some of the lettering had rubbed away. It appeared to be quite old and was noisy which made it hard to sleep. The bathroom never did warm up to a comfortable level. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would say overall my stay was ok - no complaints about the desk or cleaning staff but for customer comfort some updated vac may be in order.

"Great location."
The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Uptown Waterloo is easily accessible on foot and the bus stop is right outside. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable, however the walls were thin and noise from neighbouring rooms could be heard. There is even some historic significance to this hotel.

"The good hotel with friendly staffs"
We stayed in the hotel for one night for a event hold in UW. The location is easy to reach, and it takes about 7 to 8 minutes drive to UW with no traffic. We enjoy the spacious and neat room, and the hotel facilities are good enough for us. The breakfast is sufficient, and there is no crowd at all perhaps it's on weekend. In general, we like our stay in this hotel, and will come back again.

Waterloo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Waterloo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Waterloo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
