Great Hotel for a Visit to St.Jacobs

It was our first time staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Waterloo/St.Jacobs with our family. We had the Studio Suite with 1 King Bed. We came to check out the market and enjoy some sights around the town. Our check in was easy enough, Carl was very kind and efficient. The room studio suite was clean and very spacious only negative is that the room was too cool for our liking, but we adjusted the temperature and it was fine. There was a pool and fitness area, but we did not have enough time to enjoy it this time around. There was free wifi available and if there are any issues connecting - just ask at the front desk and they will give you a promotional code. The breakfast room was quite spacious compared to other hotels and breakfast was served from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Again, only negative is that the room was a bit cool in temperature for us (bring a light sweater). We found that by 7:30 a.m. it was the busy time. The breakfast offering was more generous than most hotels that serve only continental breakfast. The had a good sampling of breakfast foods for all tastes from scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, make your own waffles, yogurt, chia pudding, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges) coffee, tea, water, cranberry and orange juices. Another small inconvenience is the parking - there are not many parking spots in the front of the hotel, but more along the side and back. It is free parking. Overall, a nice hotel and experience for us.

Clean Good location free breakfast

Nice hotel. We have stayed here several times and it has always been pleasant. This stay, I found the bed to be a little too soft for me bit my husband loved it! Nice to have the free breakfast in the morning. We also like the convenience to the Market.

Came up for the highland games in furgas. Stayed 2 nights with our Frenchie. Really nice and clean. Even made some new friends in the smokers gazebo from our area. Would definitely stay again, One thing would be the pool, it's chilly

Very nice property, well appointed rooms. Appreciated the patio space to relax. Only complaint would be the finicky internet connection. Signal is good but had to take my tablet to the desk to get help navigating the Hilton sign in. Had same issue in previous stay (with an older tablet)
