Great staff were able to help direct us to great restaurants and were excellent communicating in the lead up to our stay. Ample on street parking within a 5 minute walk of hotel (for weekend stays). 360 terrase on roof was great for a nice relaxing bottle of wine.
Only minor element that wasn't the best was the noise (at times) near our room. As we were in the room next to the breakfast prep area, the dining room and the ice maker on the main floor it was slightly louder than we would have liked but did not sour our visit at all.

We visited in mid October amidst the beautiful autumn colours. Le Widor is in a good location, has comfortable rooms and helpful manager. Plentiful breakfast options. Le musee des Beaux-Arts is nearby.

The Hotel is a well-located, charming accommodation. The rooms are large and plenty of seating to rest in the room after a day of sight seeing. The hotel is uniquely Quebec City. The location is really close to restaurants and other neighborhood districts, and parks. The location allows travelers to see the entire city by foot. The parking is limited and very tight. The breakfast is a nice added bonus and cost saving element. The rooms are showing their age; there is some damaged trim work that needs to be replaced. The bed mattresses are lower grade.

We were welcome by Caroline and shown to our garden suite. Access into and out of the B&B is very easy. The walk to shops and restaurants is within 2-10 minutes, with views of gorgeous architecture along the way, while at the same time not being too close so you don't get the loud noise. We would stay there again !

Upper Town, located mostly within the walls of Old Quebec, occupies the crest of Cap Diamant and overlooks the Saint Lawrence River. Most buildings are at least 100 years old and made of granite in similar styles. Great Lakes freighters and ferries can be seen from Terrasse Dufferin, a pedestrian promenade. Other Upper Town attractions include Château Frontenac and Place d'Armes.
