They dont clean the rooms daily. Beds are very hard. Only 1 tiny pillow per side if the bed. (they did get us more when we asked) Lots of activities for The kids. Pool area is super busy but fun atmosphere. I would stay again and would recommend

⭐️⭐️ Beautiful hotel, but unacceptable service – no room cleaning for 2 nights I stayed at Hôtel Plaza Québec par JARO (August 21–23) and, unfortunately, what could have been a great experience was completely ruined by unacceptable service and a total lack of accountability. Despite staying two nights, our room was never cleaned — no fresh towels, no trash removed, no beds made. I reported this issue to two housekeeping staff members in the hallway, and then again at the front desk. I was ignored every time. No explanation, no apology, nothing. When I insisted on speaking to a supervisor (at 2:00 PM on the second day), I was told there was no supervisor available. No one even tried to resolve the issue or follow up. We were simply dismissed and treated with complete indifference. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as upscale. I’m requesting at least one night’s refund, as I paid for a full-service hotel via Expedia and did not receive basic housekeeping. It’s truly a shame, because the hotel itself is beautiful and well-equipped — with a pool, restaurant, and other great amenities. But none of that matters if guests are treated poorly and basic standards are not met. Until service improves, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I will be taking this issue up with Expedia for compensation.

This was my first stay at a Jaro hotel and I was impressed. The room felt very clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool area was great. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, and it didn't smell of chlorine when I stepped out there. I woyld stay again.

Rooms were not the cleanest, had to ask for service for room 1 time in 6 nights. Apart from reception limited English spoken. In the Bar Saturday night extremely loud music DJ that appeared to be there for staff rather than guests. There is also a large construction project for new roads going on that limits access to hotels restaurants across the road. Had we been made aware of would not have booked.

We were disappointed with our stay. The room constantly smelled of chlorine from the pool, which was unpleasant. The noise level was also very high, making it hard to relax. The hotel had almost no amenities — there was no water or snacks in the fridge, and not even basic items like toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, or tea were provided. Overall, it did not meet our expectations.

We stayed at Hotel Plaza Québec par Jaro for 2 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more special. The staff went out of their way to surprise us with sweets and wine. Our stay was wonderful, the room was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. Truly a memorable experience – highly recommend this property when visiting Québec!

Good location, but hotel room was very dirty. Black mold in bathroom, behind bed looks like it was never cleaned. The whole stay they did not clean our room even though we had the sign on to clean. Also pillows were super hard, we had to go buy our own pillows. I would not recommend.
