For the price we paid, I expected more. Breakfast was not included. Housekeeping did not make the beds. Restaurant at the hotel was terrible, poor service and the fish and chips was inedible. The fish was cold inside and the batter was dark and burnt. It seemed like the oil in the fryers had not been changed recently, and the server did not seem interested in finding solutions to the inedible food. Also, the temperature in the room was not adjustable. Despite having someone come fix the thermostat, we were still not able to adjust the temperature. We went from being too cold to being too hot.

The 7th floor panarama room was awesome as expected. The room was ready for us even though we were a couple of hours early. The front desk staff were friendly and very responsive when we requested a couple of robes to relax in while we took a break from enjoying the wonderful Christmas feel of Old Quebec City.

Hotel check in is sort of late - 5pm, but they will store your bags for you while you go out and explore. Concierge/bell man Chad was super friendly and helpful. Location is great for exploring Old Quebec - only a 12 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac. The room service menu is good and very reasonably priced. Cheaper than eating in the area restaurants. We ordered from there several times and it arrived hot and delicious. We shared wings, pizza, a wrap, onion rings and fried pickles during our 4 day stay. Eggs Benedict for breakfast too. There is a nice coffee machine in the room - coffee is pretty good. Pool and hot tub are nice and clean. Pool towels are skimpy and sad - definitely could use an upgrade there. All in all great service and comfy room. Would stay here again.

Our weekend stay with our family was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the rooms and facility were very clean. The children really enjoyed the indoor pool in a tropical atmosphere. We would have liked to have seen another option for breakfast other than only the buffet breakfast.
