"Great Hotel. Classic Scottish atmosphere"
Hotel was great. Very comfortable, very kind staff, the lounge with several couches and armchairs and the decoration made us feel like in a very classic scottish environment. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms large and good. EXCELLENT

"A comfortable hotel"
A comfortable hotel although furnishings and decor a bit tired. Staff were welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. The room we had was clean as were all the linens but the room we were allocated was in need of an up grade. TV had 3 channels and was a 1980's box style. Wall paper hanging off the walls and roof of bedroom and the beds had see better days. Wondered if we had been given this room because we booked through Expedia and not directly with the hotel. Breakfast had everything you could want and dinner menu had evening specials so that guests did't suffer from menu fatigue.

"Okay hotel for an overnight if you get it cheap !!"
Hotel is dated and old school feel. Staff are really good. Room is okay apart from the TV I've seen tablets with bigger screens. Breakfast is amazing. Get it cheap for an overnight it's okay.

"Nice hotel if you can find it........"
Got a good deal at the last minute for an overnight stay in Aviemore. First issue I had was that I would be arriving after dark and I had never been to the hotel or resort before. Why is this a problem? Well, upon driving into the resort I noticed that the road signs were unlit so I couldn't see directions to the hotel. Also when I stopped to see the signs that were there it still wasn't obvious where my hotel was! Eventually found it only to discover it closed! Tried phoning the contact number from Expedia which didn't work. Found the resort number on line and was told I was booked into a different hotel in the resort (which was also difficult to find due to lighting/signage/one way system issues). Hotel check in was fine and room itself was very nice. Down to on-site restaurant for an evening meal which was nice but expensive. Service was slow so be prepared to wait a while. As a price reference a bottle of Bulmer cider was £5.00. Next morning had a good breakfast from a substantial hot and cold buffet service. Even got gluten free toast! Check out was quick due to having no additional costs although the receipt I got indicated a total cost £20.00 less than the Expedia charge. Queried this to be told by the receptionist that the £20.00 must be the Expedia fee. Unsure if this is true but don't remember having this issue before. Overall a nice hotel but difficult to navigate resort and restaurant is expensive.

"A wonderful stay!"
My partner and I stayed overnight, on our way to Inverness, based on the reviews posted on Tripadvisor. This is a small country house hotel with fantastic staff who could not have been more courteous or helpful. Each room is decorated in a luxurious Scottish theme, very clean and comfortable and the food is delicious. We cant wait for an excuse to go back!

Arrived to be told only room left on second floor up 43 stairs. No lift Hot - no air con and kept hitting head on eves which sloped into room in roof. Staff very helpful however . Ensure ground floor or first floor if you stay . Disconcerting fire exit only front door and no fire extinguishers on landings.

Scottish Highlands is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Scottish Highlands, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Scottish Highlands hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
