"Because of noise, got transferred to Aspire"
Upon check in, we were assigned room 201. After being in the room for a bit we found it was very loud. The room (201) was situated directly above the front desk and next to the grand staircase. You could heard everything from the people checking in to the people walking up the stairs. Sound also carried up from the lobby below; shops and a conference being held. So, I went down to the front desk and asked for another room. I told them I paid nearly $1000 for our stay and needed a quite room. First they were going to put me in a room next to one of the rooms on the tour, which would have been worse. I didn't want that one, so they put me and my daughter at the new Aspire Hotel, part of their property, right down the road. Our bags were carried for us to the property while we drove down the road to the hotel. Like I said the hotel is brand new, a month old I think. Very modern, quite and comfortable. The beds and pillows were a dream. We had a balcony and a Nesprso coffee machine. Other than that, though the hotel did not offer any amenities (frig, microwave, breakfast), you had to walk up the the Stanley. We were able to purchase a frig for $10 a day. All in all, it fit our needs perfectly. As a side note, probably overpriced as I've read in many reviews. If we ever visit again, I would try one of the many smaller hotels or possibly a cottage.

"It's fine if you have kids"
Overall, its a fine place to sleep and change clothes. Unless you have kids and then the pool area is worth the stay. The beds are listed as queen beds but THEY ARE NOT. They are full beds and good look trying to have 2 adults sleep in one. Great location and overall a clean room.

Hotel looked updated and clean. Location is great as it just down the road from all the shops at Estes Park and entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. Would have liked their breakfast to run through 10am vs. 9:30am but other than that everything was good.

The rooms were remodeled since they have new owners and it is amazing. Jay gave us nothing but great recommendations and the views were to die for. We had a wonderful time. We even had an in-room massage and could hear the river in the background. Nothing but amazing.

"Can't beat location and value!"
This little lodge was no-frills but great location and value - probably best deal in town. Room is no-frills, but generally clean and comfortable. The only problem I had was that the noise in the room above us was too loud and interrupted my sleep. The ceiling was very thin - could hear the upstairs room people walking around very clearly and loudly. Noise outside in the parking lot from late-goers was also disruptive. There's no heavy front door - just a sliding glass door. Our room was the cheapest option - faced parking lot - in retrospect would have paid more for a golf course/ mountain view. Our room was dark too, very little sunlight. Otherwise, the coffee was good, the elk were plenty and very close! The pond is cute.

"Good older motel"
The motel is well maintained. Our room was near the highway and we could hear the cars in the morning. The refrigerator cycled on all night which might bother light sleepers. There was only shampoo in the bathroom (no conditioner or lotion). The continental breakfast was very basic. There was no microwave in the breakfast area to reheat coffee of heat sweet rolls

Rocky Mountain National Park is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rocky Mountain National Park, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rocky Mountain National Park hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
