As for location, it is great to the downtown are of Palm Springs. The property is definitely showing its age and really needs a full renovation. The pool are looked sad, but the room was okay. The plumbing was very slow to drain, both shower and toilet.

The hotel is an homage to an era past. MCM vibes abound in the decor. However, other than the lobby area, the hotel is in dire need of attention. The rooms, while very clean, are old and tired. It is scruffy, dated, old, and rather depressing in the rooms. The location is fantastic. The rooms are huge. The staff were hot or miss. The restaurant was only open for breakfast Monday-Th. Not a full service hotel by any means. No room service. The housekeeping staff manage to keep the common areas and old rooms as clean as they can be. So kudos to them. I am quite surprised that The Hyatt puts its brand on the hotel and markets it as a full-service, upscale property. It is not.

When I stay at Hyatt hotels breakfast is included. This time there was an extra charge. Also when checking in there was no mention of amenities, breakfast or time restaurant open. Had to ask. Must say my experience fell short compared to my stay at other Hyatt hotels. With that said i did like the overall space of the room and it was very clean. Hotel was in downtown Palm Springs. Older hotel but expected.

Phone number one the best is that it is very quiet no matter what room you’re in or floor. It’s very quiet. The food is delicious that they serve at the hotel and they definitely make their drinks. Delicious.

Really enjoyed staying here! We got a room with a balcony overlooking the city side & it was really nice. Overall this hotel is conveniently located on the strip & everything is within walking distance. We also took advantage of the free bike rentals!

We had to move out of the first room because the door wouldn’t close, the second room had the dirtiest and rustiest bathtub that game me health concerns, the toilet didn’t flush and we had to have maintenance crew in, then found out the bathroom sink didn’t drain and had to have another maintenance crew in. Overall, dirty, poor managed, and inconvenient to have to unpack then pack to move and upack again just to find out that things don’t function properly………. I won’t go back there anymore :(
