The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast attendant was excellent and always made sure that the coffee was replenished and tables were cleaned promptly. The breakfast menu was identical both weekend days; a little variety would have been nice.
The facility seemed tired and there was evidence of wear on the walls where furniture had scraped against them.
Our room was clean and well stocked but the televisions were not working properly. On both of them the picture was very pixelated. We called the front desk for assistance but we were told that it was likely a problem with the cable and that no one would be able to fix it over the weekend. This seemed like a lazy response. They could have at least tried to get it repaired. Most cable companies have 24/7 repair service and a customer like a hotel should ensure that they have a reliable provider that is able to help at all times. They could have offered us a different room as we were told that no one else was reporting this problem. They offered us a small discount on the nightly rate. We suspect that the problem was a faulty splitter given that there were 2 TV’s in the room.
We have stayed at this place before and enjoyed it.
