Hotel is fine if you are there for the golf. Hotel is noisy due to the large parties of golfers. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a golf side room. This meant we faced the car golf course and not the car park. we thought that would make our room quieter. In reality we were woken early in the morning by a lawn mower outside the window. We ate in the restaurant but unfortunately had what could have been a dangerous incident when my wife found a chicken bone in the Terrine. Luckily she detected it in her mouth before swallowing it. To be fair we were not charged for it. I was surprised that the bottle of wine was just placed on the table and not opened and poured.

Lovely character property, Lovely room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the pub one evening and the food was delicious. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very good (about half an hour to a lot of the popular tourist places - Bourton on the Water, Broadway Tower etc). We will definitely stay again.

A beautiful pub with stacks of character!! Cosy and inviting. Food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Locals also welcoming. The area is so picturesque it was a real treat. Would definitely return and planning to try out Sunday lunch sometime in winter to take advantage of the open fireplace. Miniscule gripe was it would be nice to have some nicer bread at breakfast rather than bog standard e.g. sourdough. But that is not a show stopper!! Definitely recommend, but be aware the staircases in the property are tight wooden spiral and may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Parking no issue, we dumped the car in front of the pub along with other on street parking.

Bed was a little soft and small side but bedroom had nice touches like the radio and coffee maker with pods. Breakfast was lovely too

The staff were welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again!
