Grays Vacation Packages

Not as advertised. No laundry facilities, no newspapers, no coffee and tea in common area. Otherwise suitable if used mostly for sleeping. Very tight bathroom entry, had to snake around door to get to sink area and I'm a small person. Shower nice, but took forever to get hot water. Breakfast was fine, good service, and I thought a nice selection. They kept luggage upon arrival, no problems. Air conditioning worked well. Not a far walk to the Underground. Stores and restaurants nearby. Quiet residential street. Worked fine for our needs.

We had the suite which was a pleasant surprise upgrade. The hotel was easy to find, quite small but offered some where to sit and have a drink of you wanted inside or out. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was nice, clean and a good standard. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. There were bedside lamps which were handy and charging points for your phone etc. It had a tv and a seating area. A hair dryer was provided which was a nice surprise. The air con was a huge success as it was very hot. There was no breakfast Option but there was plenty of choice around it . Complimentary tea coffee etc and biscuits. We would and will return and I recommend this hotel if you want a nice clean hotel in this area. Everyone was very friendly and helpful which is always a bonus. It was also good value for money in my opinion.

Small boutique hotel very convenient for Paddington station. Very clean and recently decorated in pleasant style. I liked the toiletries in the room and the automatic doors which are so helpful when you have your hands full of luggage. Staff welcoming. Breakfast very good and also refreshments available in the lobby. Our room was small, but you should expect that in London. There were some good space saving designs in the room. Air con was appreciated and sound proofing effective.

The Blakemore - Excellent location for Paddington station & Hyde Park. We stayed for only the 1 night but would like to have spent longer at this fantastic hotel. Hotel itself - wonderful, staff at reception are very helpful too. Our room was on the lower ground floor and really spacious and well decorated. Breakfast is on the side of the ground floor with a great choice available. All in, a highly recommended hotel!

Bugs in the closet and poor heater

This was a beautiful hotel that felt very high end without a huge price tag. The location is very convenient to Paddington station, but the street itself was quiet. The bedding was quite comfortable and AC worked well! Staff was very helpful and polite. I will gladly return if I'm in London again.

We had a great stay at Ashburn Hotel. Located close to the underground which gave us easy access to Wimbledon and Covent Garden. The room was very quiet even on a busy road and the air conditioning was very welcome.

Breakfast was really great. Lots of choice and service was on par
