hotel was basic but attached pub and staff excellent. If in area would stay again because of attached pub.

The whole hotel and room was a bit dated and would benefit from an upgrade. The bathroom didn't feel totally fresh as we found some hair and dirt in the corners. As the hotel is not staffed, we didn't come in contact with any staff during our visit. In the mornings we saw the cleaning crew but that was it. The breakfast was good as it offered all the basic things.

By far the worst check in experience I have had. I chose this place specifically because they advertised that there was parking available. When I arrive after a 12 hour drive, I find out that the parking they referred to is just street parking, where you need a specific app in order to pay. I obviously had a foreign SIM so was unable to download any apps. The woman I spoke to was also so rude. after driving around for almost an hour, I eventually had to leave and try and find somewhere with wifi to download the app. After all that, they wouldn't even accept UK licence plates. Honestly, such a nightmare, and not what you want at 9pm after a long day. Especially when I literally could have picked anywhere to stay... as long as there was parking available. Very misleading

The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. However, the hotel only has staff at reception between 10.00 and 14.00. Outside of these times the hotel send a message to guests via Hotel.com with the security numbers to enter the property and to obtain your room key. I had connectivity issues and I had issues with the hotels,com secure codes. It took me 45 minutes to get access to the property after arriving. If the hotel had reception staff for longer periods I would use the hotel again, otherwise I would find somewhere else due to the issues raised above. The hotel was above a station but there where no noise issues.
