"3 star hotel close to the main sights"
We stayed as family of 4 in quad room 108, 1st floor back of hotel. The room was spacious enough for our short stay however a few minor items detracted from our stay. The aircon only just coped with the hot days and the room had no direct sun on it so the street side rooms must have been hot. The wifi is useless anywhere in the hotel. There was a bath, no proper shower refer photo, there is a hand held shower head attached to the tap but nowhere to hang it up high. Breakfast is basic continental and is a crowded affair. On the plus side staff were helpful, room was clean and the property well located. Would we stay here again, NO

"Comfortable base for visiting Florence."
I don't usually bother doing reviews but it would be remiss of me not to do so for this excellent hotel. It was chosen on price and the reviews of other guests. It has to be said that the decor is quirky but it does give the hotel some character. The two rooms that my wife and I and our friends stayed in were on the third floor, one at the front and one at the back of the hotel. Both rooms and both bathrooms were very clean, a little small but perfectly adequate for our four night stay. They looked newly decorated, like the rest of the hotel and were kept clean and tidy by the staff. Our room at the back had the added bonus of a view of the domes of The Duomo and St. Lorenzo and was very quiet. The room at the front was a little noisier because of morning rubbish collections and had a view out towards the hills. The buffet breakfast provided was excellent in both quantity and choice and is served until midday. The bar is a little limited but fine for an early evening or late night drink. Finally the staff of the hotel deserve a special mention. Without exception they were professional, friendly and helpful and made our stay very relaxing. Any request was met by, "Of course," and a smile. We would particularly like to thank the longer haired young man, whose name I'm afraid I missed, who enthusiastically marked out on a map a number of recommendations of restaurants. Those we tried were very good.

This is a great place to stay if you have a few hours in Florence before an early morning flight. It has a great staff, quick and simple bar, and you can access downtown quickly via the local busses. There are also some reasonable bars and restaurants in the area.

"In the heart of Firenze!"
The location couldn't be any better!! Barely a block from the Ponte Vechio bridge and every store and tourist site you may desire to see is all with walking distance. The room was actually a suite, hence the name, with seperate bedroom and living room/kitchenette and dining table and full bathroom, soaker tub and separate shower. We loved it and would stay here again as we love this area of amazing restaurants and locals shops :)

"Wedding Crashers"
We felt like wedding crashers at this hotel. The party was in full swing on the grand terrace when we arrived that Friday evening. The only problem was that we were not invited guests, and, therefore not welcome on the terrace with the spectacular views. The other problem was that loud dance music thumped away while we tried vainly to sleep--think Gangam Style. The following day they had another event. We only stayed one night, so it did not ruin our vacation. Check with the villa before booking a stay. The villa has beautiful grounds and gorgeous views of Florence. The rooms are will appointed and maintained. The breakfast buffet is very good. It is located just outside the central part of Florence across the river, so slightly out of the way, but well worth the effort. My suggestion is that you stay a couple of nights at the villa mid-week to enjoy the splendor of the villa in peace, and to visit the Pitti Palace. Spend the remainder of your Florence stay in the city center.

Florence is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Florence, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Florence hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
