Unfortunately the pool is still out of action but that aside it was a good stay. Very helpful staff very clean and comfortable room, good breakfasts, jams at the toast area gets messy and sticky perhaps a re-think needed there, parking excellent. Only grumble was the noisy extractor in our bathroom it needs replacing, we used torches to use bathroom in the night so as not to waken our neighbours but we did report it to reception and hopefully it will be fixed for next guests. Overall a clean and modern feel to the hotel, excellent location, and as mentioned great staff !

We met the receptionist nisha she wasn’t very friendly or helpful. Then we were smacked with an unexpected bill of £48 parking for 2 nights that we were not aware about in the first place. We asked to speak with the manager about this but he/she couldn’t be bothered to show up when reception called. The room was fine but dated, the shower was 10/10. The sauna/steam/jacuzzi/swimming 10/10.

There’s lots great about this place but it’s got its quirks. It’s spacious and would be great for a family or larger group. It’s conveniently located about 10min walk from the train station. There’s a few pubs and a gas station for food nearby. Great if you’re going to a show nearby. It was very loud when we stayed there with traffic and the unit below us. The lock on the front door is picky and we got locked in for a while and had to call the owner. They were very responsive and helpful though. It had some extras like a heated towel rack and all the soaps. There was barely any coffee it wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped.
