just be careful if you book the superior delux .... it most definitely is not superior its a plain double room , then the reception staff try charge you twice for something you already paid then proceed to argue about you not paying it , thankfully i had proof but they took 2 payments already then i made them refund.... so my de stressing escalated too stress on leaving.... pointless stay 😡😡

A bit mediocre got the price, though it’s in a great location. Our bathroom was not really clean (some hair left behind) & toilet did not always flush properly. The staff could not call a taxi for us when we requested as they had no phone. The listing is not accurate when describing the parking situation (find your own parking/pay around the streets of the hotel) and when I enquired about this my enquiry was ignored/went through an ai bot. The room was nice and breakfast spread was adequate.

Breakfast offerings were not very good. Beans, toast and some fruit. The eggs were terrible. Lots of clutter throughout the place including giant televisions and a fridge, as well as lots of boxes and general stuff. Overall it was clean and quiet but could use some upkeep in terms of the food and also tidying up and removing clutter.

Our favorite place we stayed in the UK. It was amazing and i highly recommend a stay.

An amazing hotel, so classy, the old castle has be renovated to a very high level and the new part is amazing. The staff were excellent, helpful, attentive, friendly. Grounds are lovely even with the noise of the main road in the distance but in the hotel you hear nothing. Breakfast was superb. Need to find a reason to go back.
