Having stayed at KM many times we always look forward to a great time with the use of the leisure facilities as an added bonus after a long drive. This time we were lucky enough to have a suite in the Spa building which was great as we were far from the madding crowd. Excellent location, room and outlook across the golf course and beyond. This time however we thought the pool and leisure facilities looked tired and in need of a refresh considering the cost of our stay, we had a four night stay, but, only used the leisure facilities once due to the look and feel of them. We do hope there's a program of refurbishment along the way, as it would be a real shame to have to look elsewhere when you have a great jewel in the crown and makings of a real trusted brand with free parking.

We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

It was a challenge to get in contact with the host to get checkin instructions. We had to place an international call as they claim they could not communicate via Hotels.com. Everyone else I dealt with could. Parking was ok once we got into the unit and got the parking permit. Great location as restaurants shopping and sight seeing were all walkable.
