The hotel is very closed to the grand canyon area of the Yellowstone park, which is around the center of the park, best place to be the base of the Yellowstone trip imo. There is lots of parking space, the lodge is quite new, and very clean. But there are spiders/mosquitos due to the surrounding area, so be aware. Among the few inside lodging we stayed, this is the best. Totally recommended staying in this place, especially if you plan to do early morning trip to Lamar Valley/Hayden Vally. But bring your own food, as the food in the entire park is either subpar or very expensive and sometimes both.
