Blackstone Lodge & Suites

395 Glendale Dr., Lead - Map
We loved our stay at the Black Stone Lodge! It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. The only complaint we had was the hot tub hours should be better posted. There was something in the room that said hot tubs were open until 10p, but the handout we got from the staff at check in said they were open until 12a. We checked out the hot tubs (after 10p) and 2 of them were locked. There was one still open, so we took that one. We checked with staff the next day and they were closed for cleaning. There needs to be better communication! Otherwise, our stay in Lead was fabulous!

"Nice lodge in a scenic area near Deadwood."
The lodge was very nice, quiet, in a scenic setting. I wish we had another night to stay there because they had some trails. The staff was friendly. Yes, I would definitely go back or refer to a friend.

Town Hall Inn

215 W. Main St, Lead - Map
"Very nice Inn and interesting history."
We stayed at the Inn by accident. We didn't want to stay at Deadwood too busy. The Inn was very clean I would stay again. If you have problems with stairs there is a lot to climb unless you got the rooms on the first floor. The Inn is a Historical building great place to check out. If you get a chance go next door to eat at the Stamp Mill restaurant the server was very friendly and told us to go on the trolley ride at the visitor center. I am glad we took his advice. All we wanted to do was sleep and go in the morning. We had change of plans walked around the Main street and took the trolley. If you get a chance stay at the Inn.

"Wake-up and Fall Asleep to the Sound of yhe Creek"
I had no idea that we'd be getting a cabin with modern comforts. What a treat! I am not a camper and this is as close as I'll most likely get. A good place to relax to the sound of the creek. Clean and the owners are friendly. If you are looking for a place with cable and full-service room service, this is not your place. If you are lloking forna place to relax when not out enjoying what the Black Hills has to offer or to have a camping experience with modern flair then I'd highly recommend Whitetail.

Terry Peak Chalets

21150 Stewart Slope Circle, Lead - Map
"Sloped parking"
The chalet was roomy and beautiful. We rented for Kool Deadwood nights. We were very disappointed in the parking of our Chalet. The driveway was very sloped and tight with new construction going on. This made it a challenge to park our car trailer. We couldn't park our classic car in the garage, because it would get high centered. So we had to pay for parking in town. One of the reasons we picked the Chalet was the garage. The unit seemed clean, but I stepped on a needle in the upstairs bedroom. Sunday we had to line up our car at 7am. It was a little frustrating trying to get ready and out of the chalet while getting all the trash out and the beds stripped. Was a little disappointed on how much of the housekeeping we had to do or be charged extra. Windows everywhere, but no privacy. One cabin looks down on you. However beautiful cabin, beautiful furniture, very comfortable, plenty of room.

Lead is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lead, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lead hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
