We enjoyed this stop, especially the cabin style decor that included sports themed linens on the beds! This manager owner was exceptionally friendly, too.

"Great stay for the right guests!"
This was a GREAT place to stay for us, but wouldn't be for everyone in every situation. Things to know in advance, this is a remote area in a valley and cell phone coverage (verizon in our case) is mostly non-existent. There is a cell booster in the office for important calls, but we didn't use it. Water is well water, so has a mineral smell. WIFI was OK but a little slow at times, and unavailabe briefly, but is apparently out of their control since it is shared like a utility. Despite a few inconvenience, there are many pluses to this place--this is a great place to go "off grid" for a bit and relax. The owner takes great pride and care of the property, and is a gracious and available host. The cottage we stayed in, the South West, was wonderful--cozy, comfy and clean, and had a porch area we loved. Beds were great. There is a wonderful shared area with a campfire every night, great place to meet people and it is like a little temporary community, loved that! Grills available. Beautiful area to just hang out. Price we paid was inflated right before the Sturgis Rally, but that was true of most of the area so we accepted that. Come with the right attitude, and remember it is more like very comfortable camping, and you will love it!

"Central Location"
Nice central location to several main attractions (rapid city, mt Rushmore, keystone, Custer state park, crazy horse, 1880 train, bear country, reptile gardens, etc). Friendly, accommodating staff. Good complimentary bkfst with a good variety. Needs updating, but satisfactory. We weren't in the room much anyways so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Has indoor and very small outdoor pool but we didn't have time for swimming. Only real disappointment was that most places near by were closed by 9-10pm....nowhere close to even get food, would have to drive to rapid city of needed, which is about 25min. Overall we really enjoyed our time in the black hills...amazing views and unique attractions U won't see anywhere else, and pictures certainly don't compare! Would definitely recommend!☺️

"Great owners and very nice property "
These cabins are two blocks from the main downtown area, which has restaurants and shopping. The cabin we had was really cute and we liked the setup. The bathroom sink area was small and they could use some shelves for your stuff. Other than that, there was everything you need, comfy beds, and a nice relaxing area behind the cabins for barbecuing, hot tubbing, or sitting by the fire pit. Mary was extremely friendly and we'd definitely stay there again.

Hill City is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hill City, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hill City hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
