"Great Hotel Close to everything in the City"
We stayed for 2 nights and had come to see a concert at QPAC and were using public transport to get to the city so it was very practical to stay at the Jen. We felt very welcome from the minute we arrived so our first impression was great. Our room was fresh, clean and comfortable. It was about a 10 minute walk to QPAC/Southbank and the Queen Street Mall is just down the road and it was not far to the River front and pier and we even walked to west end. We like walking. The breakfast was great and we had dinner one night which was also lovely and the staff and service were excellent.

"Great location in the City"
The hotel was in a perfect location in the centre of the city so easy to walk everywhere and parking in the big Myer car park next door was easier than I thought. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice too. My room was on the 4th floor and near a pub so a bit noisy until 12pm unfortunately. The staff were friendly and helpful and checking in and out was smooth.

"Stunning hotel"
The two gentleman at check in were so so lovely! I like the car park, and the hotel is easy to get to. The room is very nicely styled, I loved all the furniture ect. It is quite a small room, balcony is very small, very very. But still nice. Bathroom has lively tiles and mirror ect, nice hot water from the shower however the tiles in the shower stay very cold and it's a bit chilly in winter. Really enjoyed the stay. We also had dinner at the restaurant it was beautiful!! Waitress was lovely. Really enjoyed our weekend in Brisbane. So thank you Gambaro hotel. The electric shade in the room is nice , the service button is nice, weist off accidentally hit it, but our room got services and new towels ect while we were at dinner. Thanks

"Great central hotel "
Great hotel, immaculate room, friendly and very helpful staff, the room was serviced daily! Can't get any river views from where we stayed (level 12) maybe try and stay few levels higher, used the heated swimming pool, there were alot of kids (think it was the Sydney football club) who were jumping in and out of the pool continuously which was abit annoying, there was an adult 'supervising' but he never told them to stop even though there were signs to say no diving, maybe someone from the hotel should check that stayers are obeying the rules.. Upon checkout we had to meet with a friend so we needed to leave our luggage at hotel, they were more than happy to secure our luggage with them, thank you so much! Would definitely return to Meriton on Herschel next time I'm in Brisbane!

Brisbane is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Brisbane, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Brisbane hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
