The hotel staff was what made this place great! They chopped coconuts for us, brought our food quickly, exchanged towels fast, kept the pool clean and guarded us at night and helped us get a reasonable taxi and treated our family that stopped by like guests! The only puzzling thing was we seemed to be the only overnight guests but they put us in a room next to the patio supplies and overlooking their parking lot when we could have easily had a pool/beach view. There is no closet in the room and the actual door had obviously been jimmied in the past - likely due to someone's lost key. Also, there was no room safe which bothered me a little. But would I stay here again? definitely! You feel safe and secure, the view is great, the beach is perfect and rooms were super clean. Prices for food are very "Americanized" (outside of the hotel we had breakfast for 6 for $17 delivered by a lady with a bike and apron)but you pay for convienence and that's okay. When they found out my husband was actually Jamaican, they played non-stop Bob Marley -very thoughtful!

Although finding the hotel was a disaster, there are 2 streets with the same name so google maps sent us to the wrong place, the staff was friendly enough and the hotel was fine for the price. Beds were comfortable but no hot water in the shower and very little pressure in the shower head. We had a very short layover so it was good enough for 1 night.

We have been to many all-inclusives and had never been to El Salvador, but were very pleased. We are not too picky which is what made this hotel perfect! The weather cannot be beat and the hotel overall was great! Staff was very nice and helpful, but just a heads up that not many people know too much English. Also we were the only Americans that we met at the resort which for us was ok, mostly locals and a couple french Canadians. Food was about as expected and drinks were on the lower end, but overall both were completely fine. The grounds are very well maintained and the hotel is huge so there is a lot to see and explore. There are many great pools to choose from and a great beach! Water slides were fun and the views from pretty much everywhere were amazing! Tons of seating options by the pools and on the beach and never felt too busy. Buildings 3 and 4 were a little nicer for the fact that they are taller and have bigger balconies, but every room is an ocean view and we were pleased with ours in building 2, a/c works great which was key! Hotel offers excursions which were nice and we took advantage of. Shows at night were also good with fire and water being really good! Great atmosphere and tons of dinning options. Amazing sunsets every night! We would definitely return and recommend this hotel!
