When we arrived we were instantly upgraded at no extra cost from a two bed room to an apartment. This was great except the cleaner kept forgetting to leave the tea/coffee every morning as the apartment was self catering. If anything it gave us too much room. Carolina on reception was the most helpful person we have come across, she was extremely knowledgeable and booked various activities for us, even sorting out a taxi at the last minute to get us to the airport because our original transport let us down. The spa was a little disappointing in that we thought we could just go down at any time any use the facilities - these had to be pre-booked and at a seperate cost. The massage was just O.K. We would definately stay again.

"Beautiful, modern hotel but restaurant menu tired "
This hotel is beautifully designed. It is very modern with very interesting artistic features. The rooms have amazing views and are comfortable and well appointed. The showers are very efficient. Storage is also very cleverly designed. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the main restaurant. The menu is uninspiring, dull and not fit for the internatinal nature of the guests hence the fact in four days we only saw one couple dining in this large area. The cafe/bar fairs better and that is where most people tend to congregate. Service is good and the food is not bad but again could offer a more modern cuisine to match the ambience. It is worth staying here just to experience the wonderful decor. Everywhere you sit is comfortable, light and attractive.

We stayed in a studio and got a great deal on it in February. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space, cleanliness and comfort of the bed. The location was great, close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is underground parking (which you will want since parking in Cadiz is terrible! ), but it does cost 20 euros a day. Things we were disappointed by: the shower is solar heated so when we arrived on a rainy, cold day the shower quickly ran out of warm water! The second day was sunny though, and we were aware, so it was better. Also, the bath towels were tiny, and thin, I don't think they ever dried out after the first use. The first night everything was very quiet, but the second night someone was staying above us and they apparently never went to bed because we could hear EVERYTHING! Talking, tv, furniture getting pushed around, etc. We both slept terribly. But hey, overall it was a good place to stay!

Only booked one night on a recommendation. Ideally situated for exploring Cadiz.
Staff on reception were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Also located not far away from Jerez and the MotoGP racetrack which was worth a visit.

Room was very basic, small & oddly shaped, Spanish style. It had towels, a small empty bar fridge, a glass in the bathroom and nothing else. Learnt to expect no hot water makers (jugs) etc but it was very sparse. Fridge was appreciated.
Only stayed 3 nights, so to save resources & importantly privacy, i left the Do Not Disturb sign up permanently (& hung my towels). This did not stop them from entering my room the first 2 mornings to clean it - i came back to get something i forgot and it was occupied by a cleaner. VERY ANNOYED at breach of privacy & changing of towels etc when not required. Plus as stated earlier their wass nothing to replace and room so small didn't need ckeaning.
However shower worked, bed was a double (not 2 singles) and from memory ok air con. Nice window, luckily with blinds as when opened you where visible to the nieghbouring
WIFI signal was very bad, ended up either in the lobby or outside to get connection.
Room was good 30 minute walk to Cadiz City, and 20 minutes before the first Gate. However it was only a block over from the beach, so i generally walked the beach to and from the City. It wasn't a room you'd want to spend time in.
Can't fault cleaniness other than the invadion of my privacy. The day i checked out i put an hand written note on the door asking them to stay away until checked out. Bus station (& hospital) nearby and distance to city kept me out of the room largely.
Suitable for short stay 1 person. Staff not very inviting.

One of the world’s oldest cities, its historic heart surrounded by water, Cádiz is remarkably overlooked by foreign visitors. Take a stroll along the promenade, with its gardens and squares, and around the old town, with its narrow Moorish alleyways. Don’t miss the Cathedral, Museo de Cádiz, and Oratorio de San Felipe Neri. Along the promenade are two fine beaches. Cadiz Carnival is Spain’s finest.
