Very helpful and friendly staff. Within easy walking distance of Banbury shops. It is on a hill though so will take a little longer to walk back, There is a good sized free car park to the rear of the hotel.
The hotel was clean and bedroom very comfortable with good sized bathroom also very clean. Beds really comfortable with good quality bedding.
It is an old building and decor a little tired in parts especially on the corridors but that is not really a problem,

We booked at the last minute. Massive hostel with good facilities. Big garden. A bit far from the centre of town, but we had a car. Stratford is a beautiful town, and this is a good place to stay while visiting.

We stayed two nights. Staff were excellent, The room was very good. We will stay again early next year and can recommend the hotel to all. The Saturday night cost was £269 which was high and the Sunday night was more reasonable at £119, less than half the price... we seemed to be 'penalised' by the fact there was a wedding on the Saturday and they must have booked a lot of rooms.

We were told that breakfast was not included but we were sure we had booked it but our confirmation e mail was silent on this aspect, so we have had to pay for breakfast and we would not have booked this price if it had not included breakfast!

Worked late and had an early start so just needed somewhere to wash and sleep. Could do with somewhere to sit and eat some food which is not a take away but it is located at a service station.

I booked this and my friends were very impressed. Try to stay at park Hotel rather than Plaza if you like old Vs new. Didn't look at adjacent plaza but bar etc was in that and was clean and modern. both hotels are ajoined- just different entrances- a bit confusing when you drive up the massive driveway, but all part of the fun/ exploration feel.

Banbury is a bustling market town in North Oxfordshire. It is known largely for its famed Banbury Cakes, and for the old English nursery rhyme, Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross. There remains a cross in the town centre along with a statue of the lady on her horse. Nearby Cropredy, 4 miles along the Oxford Canal, hosts one of Britain's biggest folk festivals every August.
