Nice hotel, but would have rather gonewhile they weren't under construction. I was placed in a room directlyl next to the elevator and I heard the elevator open and close and travel up and down the elevator shaft my entire stay. The bed was comfortable, but nost comfortable enough for me to dismiss the noise.

the air conditioning didn't work right. It was freezing and the only option we had was to turn it off. Also, the sliding bathroom door slid back when we tried to close. It took a few takes. Everything else was good.

This place was a gem. It was a full blown 1 bedroom apartment. Well appointed and extremely comfortable. It was a great value. The location was excellent, very near the Pentagon City Metro station and surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and major shopping. I highly recommend it and will use it again on my next trip.

My wife & I took a trip to DC & have stayed at Hyatt Place in other locations before, so I had an expectation of what we would have. What I didn't expect was to find a beautiful, practically brand new room with a bed with what looked like blood stains, make-up and hair on it. We went down to the lobby & informed the staff. To their credit, they immediately changed our room for us, but nothing was done for the inconvenience. After driving 9 hours, it would have been nice to get to our room with no further delay, but I guess that's what happens when you travel. The parking was ridiculous ($30 per day), but that's DC for you. No discount for their guests. Other than that, the overall experience was great. Their breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, & their staff is very friendly and attentive. Easy access to subway & busses. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay.
