The hotel was run by what seemed like a young, very friendly and helpful, family. The hotel rooms are adjacent to the reception building, flat screen tv (although we did have a wifi issue and couldn’t access it was there and there was ability to hotspot additionally). We stayed in the deluxe twin room which ours was equipped with a double bed and a single bed. They have water and fizzy juice available to buy when reception is open which was brilliant as the nearest shop is a walk away. The only downside is potentially the location (which is no fault of the owners) but we got ubers from the venue to our destinations and back and at no point felt unsafe. Would definitely return, brilliant service and for the price is definitely worth it.

Conveniently located to train station

The room was comfortable and easy to access in the first floor. The location was convenient as we were only here for 2 nights. Thebon-aite restaurant was convenient for our breakfast prior to checkout.

wad there in June. 2026. there were a couple problems with our first room. understandable considering they had just recently reopened after being closed due to the fire at the Glasgow train station. The AC didn't work and the bathroom had hot water running from both tabs. What was amazing is how they handled it. initially we were just in a standard King room. I believe the gentleman's name was Mossad that came up. He was very apologetic and friendly. he couldn't get the AC working. A few minutes later. both him and the hotel manager came up and helped us move into a beautiful suite. they also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. things like this do happen at hotels. But it's how they deal with it. that is important. And the staff was absolutely fantastic all the way around. breakfast in the morning was also terrific. it was a huge buffet with a massive selection. what a perfect way to start the day. It's an absolutely beautiful well-maintained historic Hotel.

Lovely hotel only 50 yards from Glasgow Queen Street Station (and 10 minute walk to Glasgow Central). Nice and friendly staff at reception, where I was able to leave my case in the morning whilst I enjoyed a day out. Nice big room with lovely firm mattress for a good nights sleep. Good aircon which was a must in this weather, and free minibar. Great shower. Good breakfast choice in the morning and with a view over the city. Next to Buchanan Street and the main shopping area but nice and quiet. Very good value for money.
