Xaviera's is a bit left of centre. Do your research as It is not for everyone. Eclectic and a tad cluttered. Remember you are staying in somebody's home, complete with pets. Hosts are very welcoming and we loved our stay. Sorry our stay was short and we crammed in so much as we did not get to lounge about and interact more with Xaviera and Phillipe. They gave us some great tips for dining and getting about. We would stay there again.

Stayed here for one night whilst hubby was running in the Amsterdam marathon.
Arrived early for check-in at 12 and was offered a free upgrade. Room very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and hotel very easy to find.
Only problem was the magnetic room card never seemed to work so after getting all the way up to the top floor, we had to go back down to reception to get it re-swiped but a relatively minor inconvenience.
Didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it seemed pricey (22 Euro each).
Reception staff very good.
