Overall the hotel was great. My only complaint is that the staff don’t greet you( no good morning or evening) nothing when you walk by them. It’s like you’re a bother rather than a paying customer. Just very rude!!

"Nice hotel - needs some updating but comfortable"
The room was spacious and clean (except a little sewage smell coming from the toilet - they were repairing the pipes during our visit). Valet is great and quick with cars, view was amazing and the restaurants and bars onsite were nice. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They were doing alot of work during our stay which was a little noisy and took up quite a bit of space in the lobby -sheetrock work.
However the beds are extremely firm (and I like a firm bed). But it felt like I was sleeping on the tile floor!
Elevators - 1 of the 3 elevators was not working while we were there for 4 days. We got stuck in in for a few minutes one day and I told the front desk about it. I was told they were repairing it and not to use it. They never posted signs or closed it so people kept getting in it and getting stuck.

Paid for mountain view. I got a large room on the corner giving me an amazing view of the mountains, and the beach and sunset. Huge bath towels. Restaurant across the street was very reasonably priced and air conditioned so I ate there mostly. Hotel restaurant looked very nice but open to the hot humid air. Staff was friendly and helpful in spite of their minimal English a d my nonexistent Spanish. Would definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable hotel, close to just about everything"
My recent stay at the Emporio in Zona Dorada of Acapulco was pleasant. It has similar amenities to most hotels, weight room, outdoor pools, and also a spa. There are also 2 restaurants, 2 bars(indoor and outdoor), a small store with clothes and snacks, and a travel agency within. Just outside the pools is direct access to the beach which is convenient, most of the larger hotels on the beach also have direct access to the beach, although there is a jet ski rental/diving business right next to the Emporio's exit. I did have one negative experience here in that I frequently ordered food from the hotel's restaurant and I didn't receive the 15% discount that supposedly came with my room. When my wife called the front desk they told her that the discount was only applied to orders within the restaurant. Later we decided to order in the restaurant, intending to bring it to our room ourselves and the host at the restaurant told us that we could order from our room and also that the discount would be applied the same, he even went to the front desk to make sure. We ended up eating elsewhere instead, not because the discount mattered much, but we hadn't gotten what we were offered. Everything else was great, and the hotel staff was friendly.
Hope that helps,

"Nice hotel, on the beach, and close to everything"
Had a good time. the service at the hotel was very good! the one thing i missed as i mentioned before is entertainment at the hotel. three was nothing going on in the evenings. bars in the hotel closed early, so if you wanted to have a drink you would need to go out! most hotels in the area had a happy hour until midnight. other than that everything else was good.

The Golden Zone, (Zona Dorada), is Acapulco’s chief resort and party area. Here, high-rise towers provide panoramic views of the c-shaped Acapulco Bay. A stroll along La Costera (Alemán Boulevard) reveals an adult playground of bars and nightclubs. Condesa Beach reigns supreme as the trendiest hangout for singles. CICI water park is a popular attraction, as is the Convention Center.
