I felt like royalty with their bar staff kept continually checking in on us while at the pool to make sure you had didn't need anything. The servers were so kind. The rooms are also big and they don't have pictures but there's a long table, sink, microwave, and fridge.
The kids pool is separated from the adult pool. Despite the bad reputation Acapulco had now, we felt very safe at the hotel, beach, and surrounding areas.

When I arrived at the hotel I was a bit disappointed. The pictures online made the hotel look alot nicer. Also, my standards were high because I was comparing to Cancun hotels. After I got over my first impressions the hotel wasn't bad at all. It's right infront of the beach, they have nice sun umbrellas. There are restaurants, markets, vendors all around. There's are some negatives (which every hotel has) the elevators are ridiculously slow! There are only four and only 12 Ppl fit per elevator. Mind you, there are 19 floors. The hotel was booked pretty much full capacity the two weeks we were there. We pretty much took the stairs all the time which was simple to do because our room was on the third floor. If we were higher up it would have really sucked. Something else that wasn't so great; the AC didn't work well. We had to request a fan which worked fine. Leaving this on a positive note the hotel provides awesome excursions for extremely affordable prices. For two Ppl we did three excursions for $150 (American).

Hotel Staff was very polite. Facilities are old, but clean. Descent if you are not planning to stay all day inside your room. The food (buffet) was good with many options to choose from. Good hotel if traveling with family. Maybe not a good option if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.
Hotel was very crowed at the time of my visit and therefore waiting time to use the elevator was long. Beach chairs are placed very close from each other.

The Golden Zone, (Zona Dorada), is Acapulco’s chief resort and party area. Here, high-rise towers provide panoramic views of the c-shaped Acapulco Bay. A stroll along La Costera (Alemán Boulevard) reveals an adult playground of bars and nightclubs. Condesa Beach reigns supreme as the trendiest hangout for singles. CICI water park is a popular attraction, as is the Convention Center.
