"Most relaxing vacation"
We stayed at The Historic Summit Inn for 3 weeknights. It was charming and so relaxing! We had a spectacular view of the valley below and watched 3 breathtaking sunsets during our stay. Breakfast was included in our rates and it wasn't the typical everyone fend-for-themselves breakfast bar. We were seated in a fancy restaurant and were able to choose the breakfast of our choice from their menu. I was surprised how good everything tasted - the scrambled eggs, large sausage links, bacon, and pancakes. The service was awesome too! The staff behind the check-in counter were very helpful too and didn't hesitate to hand over a fresh towel every time we made a trip to the pool and hot tub or give us information about the area. Because it was through the week and not the weekend, we pretty much had the pool and hot tub to ourselves, both of which are very well maintained and large. They also overlook the valley below. It was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub after a full day of hiking through Ohiopyle State Park. There is also a large indoor pool, but we never used it because the weather was so perfect while we were there. I've noticed in other reviews that people complained about the rooms needing updated, but I found ours' to be quite homey. The furniture looks old, as does the woodwork, and turn key doors, but having grown up in an old farmhouse, I settled right in! Maybe because it was through the week, it was the quietest place we've ever stayed.

"Wonderful hotel close to Ohiopyle"
I am very picky about my hotel stays. I normally dread the thought of hotel stays, but as soon as I walked into this mind was at ease. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast offered many choices which was another wonderful feature. Close to restaurants, Ohiopyle, mall, and Laurel Caverns.

The air was very dry, but that's typical for any hotel room. The room was as I would expect for a Super 8.

"Stay was ok. "
Staff was super nice. Hotel as a whole was good as well. A lot of things to do right in the hotel. They had a band playing 80's music which was nice. Only complaint was the bathroom was super small. Also the carpet felt dirty, I wore slippers because the way it felt. Maybe a better scrub would of helped. I'd stay here again though.

"Room with a view"
Room was fine. A/C worked very well. Room had fridge and microwave. No blow dryer. The deck is nice, needs some work, but table and chairs were new. Good location. Free breakfast was ok. You have to walk or drive to get to it. Quiet. Lots of people were fishing in the large pond.

"A little over priced for the amenities."
Staff was nice. Room was clean. Walls were not noise proof, could hear next room, as they were just speaking normal levels. Individuals were sitting on bench outside window holding conversation and we are able to hear every word... difficult sleeping with these distractions. Individuals were not loud or causing disturbance, just normal conversation.

"Upgrades since last visit"
We stayed here about 2 years ago, and the place was dated. Although they advised that the first floor was sold out (no cars in the parking lot!) the room given us was definitely upgraded since our last visit. A good overnight stay, worth it for the price.

Uniontown is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Uniontown, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Uniontown hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
