Stay here!

This hotel was absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked in to the moment, we walked out, start to finish. It was sublime. We had such a lovely meal with friends in the restaurant, which was excellent! The seating area on the mezzanine was wonderful for chatting with our guests and it was located in a convenient area of downtown Pittsburgh. I would highly recommend anyone stay here for a luxury stay. The price was right to consider considering!

Pros: Great location, well appointed room and very clean. Had dinner at restaurant which was very good. Cons: Did not receive my VIP amenity and I shouldn't have to ask. Valet took 30 minutes on average to retrieve the car every time so plan accordingly. I ended up using ride share twice because of retrieval time. Car also came back scuffed (not scratched) every time they brought it to me. Requested room with a bathtub for my daughter (Expedia listed it as available with my room selection) and did not receive it.

Beautiful property. Great restaurant/bar on site with attentive, friendly staff. Excellent location. Front desk management/ staff of the hotel left a bad impression unfortunately. Even after sorting out a huge fumble upon arrival (apology given in elevator-not in front of staff after error which left me waiting for 45 mins at check in like it was my fault), valet and front desk staff remained unbothered, and uninterested throughout my stay. No hellos, no dinner recommendation, no ‘how is your stay going?’- perhaps they didn’t want to know. Was late for dinner because valet didn’t bring car. Room not made up even after being out all day- two times had to remind front desk. In full transparency I received a credit but too little too late. For this price I don't want to feel like I am a nuisance to the staff. Such a shame. It’s this property- not the brand.
