The hotel itself was quite nice and clean, and we likely would have given 4 or 5 stars except for the fact that the room described in our booking was not what we were given. We booked a two bedroom suite that was advertised as two bedrooms with private bathrooms, king beds, separate dining/living area with table and couch. What we received was a one bedroom suite where the couch had been removed and a queen bed put in its place. And the second 'ensuite' was more like a powder room with a small stand up shower that couldn't be used without flooding the whole bathroom. When we brought these discrepancies to the hotel we were told essentially you get what you get. And there was no effort to fix the unusable shower. Overall the hotel itself was fine, buffet breakfast was good and outside of the room issue the staff was very friendly but be aware that the photos online are intentionally deceiving and are advertised as much larger than reality.

Value for money

Hands down amazing, staff out of this world, helpful polite, and could not accommodate us enough. We were even given a free upgrade to an executive suite as they did not have the twin beds ordered on the booking.

Just finished 10 nights at Stella Maris, had an amazing time, the staff are amazing and is by far the biggest highlight of the hotel. We paid extra for a high level room and were placed on the 14th floor, room was lovely and cleaned exceptionally well every day. There is some noise from outside, both traffic and building noise but being on the 14th floor did help. The pool and rooftop bar were fantastic, staff always happy to help, brining drinks over to your sun lounger and nothing was ever too much to ask. Breakfast was another highlight, lots of choice for every nationality available and everything was fresh and replenished throughout the morning. The free airport transfers and couples massage was a very nice touch offered by the hotel. Overall highly recommend this hotel, can assure you that you will have an amazing stay.

The place is a little dated and we had a room with a toilet that was blocked on arrival and a shower over a bath which wouldn’t drain, and even after maintenance came to sort it, the problem remained. This caused flooding around the shower and bath and onto the floor and was damp on the plaster outside the bathroom. The bar staff at the skybar were the highlight, very attentive and efficient. We had to constantly ask for towel replacements as they weren’t forthcoming with these at all. Overall, a bit disappointing.

Booked Junior Suite Twin, Panoramic View Pros: Spactious room Bathroom was nice with big bathtub Reception staff was helpful and polite Pool was nice Good variety for brekfast. 12000-15000 VND by bike Grab to most location. Car about 50k. Cons: Windows - dirty. Probs not washed in ?months. The view I was looking forward to: could not even take a picture on my phone. Room was hot. Not airconditioned prior my arrival and through those big big windows on suny side - warmed like greenhouse. Aircondition was not that powerful and took hours to get it to semi decent so I could sleep few hours (at least). Half of the ameinites mentioned were missing. Like ... what computer? What tootpaste? And why do I have to ask for fridge in premium apartment? Minibar? Forget it (it was two pots of instant noodles). Neutral: There is nothing around. Like nothing. Like.... nothing. But I could have do better research
