"Classy hotel with great staff "
I stayed at the Eco Hanoi during my first trip to Vietnam. I was looking on Expedia for something that was more modern and clean and this hotel delivered. I arranged for a car to pick me up from the hotel and the driver was super nice and drove very safely (for Vietnam's standard). I was greeted and was able to check-in earlier than the standard check-in time (which I really appreciated) and by the end of the check-in, I had a trip to Sapa (which I totally recommend) and a trip to Ha Long Bay booked. The hotel's location has some great Bun Cha and Bahn Mi by it. A 10 minute walk to the famous lake and super close to the night market when it's open. I was expecting a safe in the room which it did not have but it didn't matter to me - I just thought there was one. The hotel is close by a train railway and my room was near it but the train only passes 2 times in the AM and 3 times in the PM, so it wasn't really a bother...I did have the windows closed, though, and it was not that loud. The breakfast is standard but glad it was there. You'll get a standard selection of eggs, wieners, noodles, coffee, juice, cereal, bread/toast, veggies and fruit. I came back from one tour early one day and I was not staying and they even offered me breakfast while I waited for the second tour bus to pick me up. The tours do need to provide a bit more info for the customers BUT at the same time, you'll be in good hands. The guides and companies do it all year long, all the time.

"Good good good!"
Very good place to eat and sightseeing, the receptionists were very helpful and friendly. We had lots of questions to receptionists but they were very patient with smile to solve our problems one by one. I am working in hospitality industry too so I appreciated their professional service. We had only 4 days in Hanoi so we joined a day tour trip through the hotel to Halong Bay (us$55)which recommended by a receptionist. The service was excellent and the tour guide was professional and funny, while the seafood lunch was just ok but overall was worth to join!

"Great location"
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Location was on a side street so there was not much traffic noise but still close to Hoan Kiem Lake. The only negative I would say is the shower head is low and to get into the tub is high off the ground, a little dangerous when getting out of the shower, but everything else was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable beds in the hotel. Had a very good nights sleep. The shower was luke warm but all was made better when we were offered a complementary buffet breakfast, which was delicious.

"Beautiful hotel - an oasis of calm in Hanoi"
I stayed here for a few days R&R at the end of a G Adventures trip around Vietnam. After a bit the mad crazy traffic of Hanoi can get to you and entering the lobby a sense of calmness takes over. I thoroughly recommend paying a bit more for a room in the original building to get the full experience (though the new building is just the other side of the swimming pool). The bed is probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in! All the usual room extras one would expect in a 5* hotel. The swimming pool area is small but very relaxed with the pool staff bringing you a refreshing towel /water. They also hold free yoga classes some mornings (book when you arrive) - also worth considering are the cooking classes - I missed out as no spaces. Quite expenses but from talking to others a great experience. My only critique is the food /bar is expensive for Vietnam - US 5* hotel prices which comes a bit of a shock when used to spending $6 on a meal in rest of Vietnam. But chill and enjoy - or as I did walk out to local café for breakfast! The cocktail list is mainly short ones - where as I like long ones to sip - but the bar tender was happy to make up one at my request.

"Location, Room and Staff Get a Thumbs Up!"
We had stayed in another hotel before going to Ha Long Bay then selected Hanoi Chic for the return. Very happy we made the switch. The room had great character and view of the bustling street. The location was fantastic and the staff was very accommodating for our early departure for the airport.

Hanoi is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hanoi, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hanoi hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
