"Nice hotel in a great location"
We stayed in the king bed room for two nights. This is a good basic hotel; nothing too flash but not outdated, just all round nice. The elevator is a bit clunky but didn't have any problems with it. The room had a good TV with a few Foxtel channels, and a small bar fridge. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed, and the provided soaps and shampoo were very good. The room was reasonably quiet for Pitt St although you do hear a bit of noise if there are garbage trucks or sirens, but we weren't really bothered by them. The air conditioning was a bit weak; the room was a bit warm at night and turning up the air con didn't seem to make a difference. But we still slept fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't check what the wifi options are so can't comment. The location on Pitt St is fantastic, close to all of the CBD's shopping and public transport, and also not far from Surrey Hills where there are some great breakfast options. Just be aware that parking is off-site; you have to go down a couple blocks to park underneath the World Square shopping centre. It's not very far from the hotel.

"Great Hotel in Sydney CBD"
Attended a conference at the Hilton which is an annual event. Great place to stay and have a conference. In the centre of Sydney's CBD district. Extremely convenient to get to from both International and Domestic airports - just take the underground train from the airport and get off at Town Hall on the loop around the city. Only takes 20 minutes and just walk across the street to the hotel once you get out of the station. The hotel is spacious and modern. Great buffet breakfast. Rooms very well appointed, modern and quiet. The hotel is close to most attractions in the city.

"Excellent for a weekend away"
We booked a twin room at the Primus Hotel for a weekend away, and did not once regret our decision. When we arrived, we had assistance in unloading our car and had a seamless check-in experience. We were advised that there was a heritage tour beginning approximately five minutes later, which I opted to go on. My friend went upstairs and settled in to our room. The tour was excellent - it gave a great context for the building (the old Metropolitan Water, Sewers and Drainage Board) and for the extensive renovation work that had been taken out. Our room was on the sixth floor, which has been kept mostly in tact as a part of the heritage listing, with original tiles and fixtures in the corridors. It's truly a stunning building. Our room was brilliant. It was a large twin, with comfortable beds and a sitting area with two armchairs and footstools. The bathroom was delightful - it had a real Art Deco sense of elegance, and everything was well considered and practical with lots of storage space and a huge bath. Over the course of the few days that we stayed, the service was exemplary. If they didn't remember our names, they remembered that we were going to see a show, and were always friendly and helpful. I can't remember the last time I have had such a positive experience, it was well worth it. This hotel comes highly recommended.

"Close to everything. "
Our very comfortable room was on the 38th floor with views of the harbour. We were fortunate to be in Sydney during the vivid light show and the views from our floor to ceiling windows looking out to the Darling Harbour light show was amazing. The Nespresso machine in the room was nice, especially for us coffee addicts. Staff very attentive. On Bathurst Street not far from our hotel is a wonderful restaurant called Chefs Gallery. Believe me it pays to go there for a true authentic Chinese meal. YUM!!!!

"Great Location"
This hotel has an interesting history and is clean and comfortable. It is great value for a city hotel, being located close to Town Hall Station & within walking distance of major attractions. The rooms, bed & bathroom are small but for a short stay this is not an issue. The dining room is amazing...we'll be back!
