Swiss Plateau Vacation Packages

Staff tried their best to be helpful and available. Rooms are small. Building is a bit worn out. Good location.

Very clean room, very courteous staff but very noisy outside every morning with dumpsters

Absolutely fabulous hotel and perfect location to enjoy the wonderful scenery - mountain hikes and swimming and activities on the lake. Duty manager so welcoming, helpful and friendly, advising us on walks on our arrival. Friendly restaurant staff and a great buffet breakfast to start the day with a much appreciated vegan selection. Lovely bakery on-site and covered walkway to the cable car opposite the hotel. Lovely spa area to relax after hiking, or to watch the rain from. Comfortable bed, fresh spring water, large balconies. No apparent air con, but nice just to have the window tilted open. Well served by buses

The property was safe, close to restaurants, close enough to the train station, close to lots of shopping. The staff was kind enough to give us a free upgrade to a suite for our family which was amazing and huge. We stayed one night before leaving back home to the United States. We were in Switzerland at three other hotels before staying here, and I will say I don’t know if it is a Swiss or European thing, but the pillows were just not that comfortable. I think they’re all made from down feathers, and when you lay your head on them, they just go completely flat. The breakfast was sufficient, but of all the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland, it was our least favorite… it was closer to an American continental breakfast. That being said, this was also the cheapest hotel we stayed at so maybe that correlates.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting.

This hotel is fabulous! The attention to detail is what sets it apart. I travelled with my 7 year old daughter and she was very happy to be seen and catered for. She had her own small bed, welcome treats and gifts (Heidi is safely in South Africa) and amenities. We had late lunch at the Bar (the langoustine pasta is so good!) The location is great! You can walk to most of the attractions like St Peter’s Cathedral, Old Town, Lake Geneva and great shopping across the river on Rue du Rhône. This was ranked top out of 4 hotels which we stayed in on our European vacation. I highly recommend this hotel.
