"Hotel Suisse"
Nice hotel, 2 mins from train station, 5 mins from lake Geneva. Friendly staff, good basic breakfast. You can walk anywhere in Geneva from this ideal base. Room was a little hot (but it was summer) and there was a lot of traffic noise from the street at the front if you had the window open, window close = no noise.

"One of Geneva best."
Great staff going way beyond the duty to help the customer. Old hotel that remind me my childhood (I lived in Geneva from 1948 for 22 years) As kids we were impressed by the renown of the hotel , hoping that one day we could be guests. Management always in the same family kept the things straight. View on the beautiful lake "rade" (around the lake) and the "jet d'eau". Only compliments from my wife and myself. Geneva , in general, much cleaner than in the past years (Most graffiti's gone) Traffic, still a nightmare...Food, excellent. Weather, perfect Francois Prinz

"Convenient for business travelers but..."
Convenient location for business travelers but a bit too far from the Geneva downtown. I mean, it's not a walking distance, especially if you're walking with your luggage. When I stayed the restaurant was under reconstruction but the breakfast was plantiful and the breakfast area was cozy. I had an upgraded room, and even though it was rather on the smaller side, it was comfortable with a nice touch of a tiny balcony. Loved the bathroom - all of it.

"Great hotel, convenient to everything"
Excellent hotel and staff. Close enough to the river, the lake, the train station, and pretty much anything else that you would want to do in Geneva. And they give you free public transit passes for your stay, so everything is convenient. The room was great and clean. Perhaps a bit larger than the typical European room. Complete amenities outside the room. Couldn't have been happier about the hotel.

"Excellent Hotel with Fantastic Staff"
While this hotel is very pricey, it is well worth it. I booked 2 rooms for our family. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of light and well appointed supplies were in each room. The only thing missing was an outlet in the bathroom for my hair appliance. So I had to curl my hair while sitting at the desk, which was fine. Central location with the free boat across the street to the main downtown area. The staff were super nice and accomodating. The front receptionists were all very pleasant, well dressed and super professional. Their English was great. The bell men and security people in the lobby were very attentive and helpful. We ate in the Chinese restaurant and the general restaurant on the 2nd floor. All of the waiters were amazing and very friendly.Smiling all the time. Food excellent. We found this a pleasant surprise for Switerland. Our daughter goes to school in a nearby town, so we come often to Switzerland to visit. Since waiters and staff don't work for tips, it is very rare to get good service in Switzerland. We ate at 2 Michelin restaurants in Switzerland, and they provide amazing service, but other than that, waiters and waitresses and not normally very attentive. But this hotel and their staff provided the best service in Switzerland.

Geneva is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Geneva, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Geneva hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
