I was nervous because I came with m husband now and only knew a small amount of Serbian. It was just fine! We went to Divine Liturgy on Sunday at St Sava where I sang with my church family & choir all those years ago. Goosebumps. Everyone knows English. It is nice to know some Serbian phrases as it shows respect for the Serbian people. Our superior apt was our reprieve for naps & our little kitchen to rejuvenate for our adventures to Skadalija. Go to the bakeries. Any of them. The staff will call and make reservations for you anywhere. Americans must relax! Any meal is hours & you need to enjoy the experience. It is worth it. Excellent location when visiting Belgrade. Air conditioning controlled from front desk. Found it was warm, but staff was able to cool to DWs liking.
