We booked last minute during a very busy wedding weekend at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Parking was packed so they gave us free valet parking. When the shuttle to the Sonoma Plaza was not available, they paid our cab! Lovely pool, nice room, pricey room service, but really phenomenal staff. I love this place!

We stayed here with friends for 2 nights in August. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. The cottages were lovely and private. We enjoyed time by the pool/hot tub and even used the beautiful pools at the spa. There is a shuttle that takes you into the Sonoma square where all the restaurants are. They drop you off and will pick you up until 10:30pm as well. We can't say enough about the great time we had here!

Quiet and comfortable place a block from the square. They afford you exactly the amount t of attention you ask for. We got engaged on this trip and they sent a comp bottle wine and chocolates to our room within 5 minutes of learning our good news. And the home-cooked breakfasts are a wonderful change from the standard hotel breakfast buffet.

The bungalow was great! Location within walking distance of historic downtown. Greeted with bottle of wine. We had run of the place as no one else was there. Beautiful outside yard area with fire pit, awesome!

I said I would recommend this hotel, but it depends on the person. The place was perfectly fine and had a really good location. You could walk to multiple shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms. visiting wineries wasn't hard either, we used uber because everything was within 20-25 minutes. But if you don't like the whole B and B feel I would suggest somewhere nicer. It's a little noisy and breakfast isn't breakfast it's literally just pastries.

In California's wine country, Sonoma revives the senses with spas, wine tasting, top-rated restaurants, and scenic countryside. Vineyards on rolling hills literally sparkle with silver streamers designed to deter birds. Historic sites from the 1800s include Lachryma Montis, the 20-acre estate of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, and the Sonoma Mission, on downtown's charming eight-acre plaza.
