"Romantic Getaway"
This would be a great place for a romantic getaway. Room was comfortable. Cool parch to sit out on, read and enjoy a bottle of wine before going out to dinner. Don Giovanni's Bistro is a block away, but other than that you will have to drive or uber/cab it. I used Uber and everything was within a $10-12 Uber ride, so no big deal. I definitely recommend the Hotel.

"Luxury Pool & Relaxation in Heart of Wine Country"
My wife and I stayed at Meritage for a change of pace and some resort/pool time after spending some time at a Napa B & B and wine tasting for 3 days. We did not know that the Meritage Resort existed in the "boutique" area of Napa - the grounds were beautiful, very clean, great outdoor pool, great restaurants (especially liked the bowling alley/bar on site), great wine tasting & "cave" experience, and a location just a little outside of town that truly has everything you need without having to leave. Highly recommended - we will be back.

"They're doing a nice job "
Location can't be best at this 2 star hotel. You can tell it's a bit older but the owners have done a nice job updating the place. New carpet, paint, furniture and some fixtures as well. Could the elevator use an upgrade? Sure. But the stairway is secure and it smells clean, not of urine or homeless people. The woman at check in was very friendly and handled some angry, abusive people with grace. It's a 2 star hotel so don't expect luxury, but definitely ranks as one of the best, if not the best, of all the hotels in this rating that I've stayed in. Be like Nike and just do it.

Staff was excellent. Need a larger dining area, we typically like to eat where we stay but food was expensive and lacked private space to eat. I understand they are under construction to expand so this need will be upgraded.

Other things: clean but not too comfortable. Too expensive for what they offered. I payed something like 300 something dollars per night (like a very good hotel in NYC) but what they offered was far from that.

"Wonderful Carneros Hotel"
The Carneros Inn is a wonderful property made up of individual cottages. Our cottage, and I believe all of them have nice front porches as well as private furnished patios. The furnishings are wonderful and very comfortable. Little extras that make it such a nice stay are heated floors, an indoor-outdoor shower, a minibar with complimentary waters and sodas, and heaters on the back patio. The hotel is wonderful!

"Budget friendly stay in downtown Napa"
Very conveniently located in Napa, easy to find. Inside is much nicer than what the facade suggests. The second floor room I had was very clean, quiet and cozy with the fire place. Water pressure in shower was a little weak. The breakfast offered in the morning was really lacking so I ended up eating at the nearby farmers market. Staff wasn't that friendly so I didn't interact much with them. Judging by the number of cars in the free parking lot for the hotel, there weren't many staying there when I was there. For the price of less than two hundred dollars a night this is a great place to stay in Napa but next time I'd choose to stay somewhere more romantic and fitting for wine country.

Napa is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Napa, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Napa hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
